Assistant Professor of Physiology, Neuroscience and Neurology (Tenure)
The University of Southern California (USC) seeks a full-time Behavioral Neurologist to join the Departments of Physiology, Neuroscience and Neurology at the Keck School of Medicine.
About the Role
Candidates must be board certified in neurology and fellowship trained in behavioral neurology with a focus on Alzheimer Disease and Related Disorders (ADRD). They should have a demonstrated track record in clinical or translational research. Active licensure in California is required. The successful candidate will have strong behavior neurology skills and interest in pursuing an independently funded, academic research career.
Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical research in behavioral neurology, particularly focusing on Alzheimer Disease and Related Disorders (ADRD)
- Collaborate with other researchers and clinicians to advance knowledge in the field
- Teach and mentor students and trainees in behavioral neurology
- Participate in clinical care for patients with neurological disorders, including those with ADRD
Requirements
- Board certification in neurology
- Fellowship training in behavioral neurology with a focus on Alzheimer Disease and Related Disorders (ADRD)
- Active licensure in California
