Job Type: Full-Time • Salary (Hourly): $10.50 • Location: Spencer, TN (Fall Creek Falls State Park Lodge, Van Buren County) • Department: Environment and Conservation

Overview

This position involves leading daily shifts in the restaurant and serving food and beverages to guests in both the lounge and dining areas.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train new or existing servers in restaurant service standards and catering events.
• Assist with stocking and setting up restaurant and catering tables before each shift or function.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by placing food and beverage orders in a timely manner.
• Assist with pre‑shift meetings to discuss shift objectives and nightly food and drink specials.
• Suggest wine pairings to guests to complement their food selections.
• Be familiar with locally sourced beverage offerings and distinguish the unique nature of each product to guests.

Qualifications

• Experience equivalent to one year of food service work.
• Within 90 days of hire, obtain TIPS or ServSafe and Alcohol ServSafe Food Safety Examination.
