Qualifications Education and Experience: Experience equivalent to two years of skilled fulltime labor and trades experience NSQs: A valid motor vehicle operator's license may be required for employment in some positions. Overview This position will perform hands-on facilities maintenance on buildings, structures, and utility systems and grounds maintenance work of average difficulty. We are seeking someone who is comfortable interacting with park guests and enjoys working outdoors with some indoor work. Responsibilities Under supervision of Park Manager, train and lead TSP seasonal maintenance staff and monitor/assess their performance to make improvements or take corrective actions.Perform grounds maintenance, custodial tasks, facility maintenance and repair, and equipment operations.Perform groundskeeping work, including cutting and trimming grass and removing obstructive trees/limbs.Perform basic electrical and plumbing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs as needed, within the employee's training, and knowledge.Perform custodial tasks related to cleaning facilities, such as, floor mopping and buffing, power washing, wall cleaning and painting, sink and mirror cleaning, supply restocking and other custodial work as required.Remove trash and clean trashcans.Maintain equipment and troubleshoot any causes of operating errors in equipment, such as mowers, powered hand tools, and facilities components.Assist in performing inventory of work-related supplies and materials.Communicate directly with the public to provide basic customer service and direct persons to appropriate solutions.
