Experience equivalent to one year of experience of food service work.
Necessary Special Qualifications:
- Within 90 days of their hire date, applicants must obtain: TIPS or ServSafe and Alcohol ServSafe Food Safety Examination
Responsibilities
- Coach and train new or existing servers in restaurant service standards and catering events.
- Aid in stocking and setting up restaurant and catering tables before each shift or function.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by placing food and beverage orders in a timely manner.
- Aid in pre-shift meetings to discuss shift objectives and nightly food and drink specials.
- Suggest wine pairings to guests to complement their food selections.
- Be familiar with locally sourced beverage offerings and can distinguish the unique nature of each product to guests.
