Tenant Experience & Center Concierge
About the Role
The Tenant Experience & Center Concierge serves as the front-facing ambassador for Alexandria’s tenant community, providing hospitality-driven service, operational support, and a seamless daily experience for tenants, guests, and Lilly Gateway member companies. This individual plays a key role in strengthening community engagement, supporting events and programming, maintaining building standards, and ensuring efficient, high-quality coordination across Asset Services, Engineering, Security, Events, and Lilly Gateway teams.

Responsibilities
- Hospitality & Front-of-House Experience
- Serve as the primary front desk representative, greeting all guests with a professional and welcoming demeanor.
- Manage check-in, access control, and visitor coordination in partnership with Security.
- Maintain all lobby, kitchen, and common areas to Alexandria brand standards—clean, stocked, and presentation-ready throughout the day.
- Provide white-glove tenant support, assisting with requests, questions, and day-to-day needs.
- Develop and administer tenant/member satisfaction surveys and distill into net promoter scores for KPI reporting to Eli Lilly and other partners.
- Lead execution of emergency evacuation drills and campus safety requirements.
- Tenant & Member Company Support
- Support onboarding of new tenants and Lilly Gateway members, including orientations, access badges, safety training coordination, and welcome communications.
- Provide oversight of mail/package distribution communications with shipping/receiving dockmaster.
- Transmit communications of building policies, updates, and procedures.
- Coordinate with Asset Services teams to ensure timely resolution of tenant work requests and facilities-related needs by monitoring CMMS logs.
- Maintain accurate tenant contact lists, emergency rosters, and Certificates of Insurance.
- Manage reception of regulatory inspectors and notifications of responsible parties during inspections.
- Events, Programming & Community Engagement
- Lead execution of community-building events such as lunches, networking sessions, educational workshops, and social gatherings.
- Assist Lilly Gateway teams with facilitation of scientific programming, entrepreneurial events, and strategic ecosystem engagement.
- Manage event logistics, including space reservations, furniture setup requests, vendor coordination, and A/V support needs.
- Update digital signage, email blasts, and promotional templates for upcoming events and tenant communications.
- Operational & Administrative Support
- Support conference room management, including daily checks to ensure rooms are clean, stocked, and fully functional.
- Submit and track invoices, vendor orders, supply restocking, and Accounts Payable processing (including coding of invoices) as needed.
- Serve as an on-site point of contact for Engineering, laboratory support vendors, custodial partners, day porters, and security staff during business hours.
- Assist with Transportation Demand Management (TDM) program administration and annual surveys (if campus-specific).
- Track regulatory permit and license expirations, and compliance audits to ensure site readiness for inspections at any time.
- Coordinate special projects and asset-level initiatives in support of the Asset Services leadership team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; science-related field or interest in the life science industry a plus.
- At least 1 year of experience in hospitality, customer service, property management, or a front-of-house role.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience with work order systems (e.g., Angus Anywhere), access control tools, or AP platforms (Yardi) is a plus.
- Customer-service mindset with a proactive, positive attitude and polished presentation.
Pay
The expected base hourly wage range for this position is $36.06 to $40.87 USD hourly, plus an annual discretionary bonus.
