About the role
The Department of Cinema, Television and Media Production at Kutztown University invites applications for a part-time temporary faculty position for the Fall 2026 - Spring 2027 academic year. Courses taught may include Scriptwriting, Media Theory and Aesthetics, Introduction to Cinema, Television and Media Production, Post-Production, or other introductory through advanced production courses.
In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly growth; and service.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a related field
- College-level teaching experience
- Significant industry-related experience
- Proficiency in field and post-production
Qualifications (Preferred)
- MFA or PhD in a related field
- Proficiency in broadcast production
