Job Description
Ulbrich Stainless Steel & Special Metals, Inc. is looking for a Temporary HR Administrator to provide administrative and receptionist-related support to the Human Resources department with a strong focus on our paperless transition project. This role assists with day-to-day HR operations and general administrative tasks to help ensure smooth HR processes during a period of increased workload and staff coverage.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the paperless project by scanning, organizing and uploading employee personnel files into the electronic filing system;
- Aid employees with routine HR tasks and other basic inquiries;
- Screens and prioritizes incoming calls, mail and visitors;
- Support planning and coordination of employee events, including retirement parties, employee appreciation activities, and other internal events;
- Aid HR with additional ad hoc tasks and administrative requests as needed.
Qualifications
- A high school graduate with some post-secondary education preferred;
- Extensive administrative experience;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Must possess strong organizational and multi-tasking skills;
- Highly proficient computer skills to include excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately;
- Strong project management skills.
