Temporary Facilities Laborer
Job Summary & Responsibilities
The Temporary Facilities Laborer is assigned responsibility for the commercial building site in regards to cleaning, maintenance, and process support, to ensure the surrounding environment is in a suitable, clean condition to work.
Qualifications & Skills
- Pursuing or completion of a high school diploma or equivalent education
- General safety awareness and willingness to take direction on task completion
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently on various projects
- Knowledge of the basics of Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new programs
- Practical decision-making skills
- High level of personal integrity
- Interpersonal skills – ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels within/outside the organization

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, self-contained breathing system, hazardous material suit, and hearing protection
- Working at extreme heights (approximately 150 ft), in confined spaces, and in extreme temperatures from -20 to +100 degrees Fahrenheit, both indoors and outdoors
- Using the following equipment/tools, with training provided (not all encompassing): cleaning cart and supplies, forklift, riding and push lawn mower, bobcat sweeper, vacuum, snow blower, shovel, broom, mop, and ladder
- Frequently: Walk on slippery surfaces, Grip with a force of up to 20lbs, Push and pull with a force of up to 30lbs, Bend forward while standing, Use repetitive arm motions to wipe down and maintain work area
- Occasionally: Lift up to 50lbs, with or without assistance, Carry up to 50lb, with or without assistance
- Be in awkward back, shoulder, wrists, and hand positions
