Temporary | Duncan Student Center Retail Associate

About the role

The University of Notre Dame Operations, Events, and Safety (UOES) division is currently hiring for temporary/on-call Retail Associates at Duncan Student Center in our Campus Dining department. The UOES division oversees the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions, while also supporting student life, academic initiatives, research activities, and annual milestone celebrations. Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service for guests while ensuring a clean, fast, and friendly multi-unit environment.
• Chick-fil-A responsibilities:
  • Accurately follow the daily production lists per Chick-fil-A brand training.
  • Prepare food.
  • Stock and load vans for deliveries.
  • Prep upcoming orders and work in a high-volume quick-service location.
  • Wash dishes and maintain eating areas within the unit.
  • Perform all tasks relating to retail, safety, and sanitation of food service facilities.
• Hagerty Café and ABP responsibilities:
  • Assist guests and exceed expectations while working at a fast-paced dining establishment.
  • Assist with preparation of food as needed.
  • Stock and rotate food inventories.
  • Operate order and point of sale equipment.

Requirements

• Available to work during home football games.
• Capable of managing time effectively with minimal supervision.
• Positive, respectful, excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time (up to 6 hours at a time).
• Follow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food products.

Schedule

11AM–9PM; must be available to work during home football games.

Pay

$17.50/hr
