Temporary Camp Cook - Columbia, NC
About the role
This position will provide meals for guests visiting and renting the Eastern 4-H Center. Meals will be prepared according to center recipes, menus, and supervisor instruction. All state health codes must be followed at all times along with NCSU regulations and Center guidelines. Flexibility in schedule will be needed for success in this position and the ability to follow directions and work independently. Supervisor may assign other duties as needed.
Responsibilities
- Prepare meals according to center recipes and menus.
- Follow all state health codes and NCSU regulations.
- Work independently and follow supervisor’s instructions.
- Interact with the public.
- Work with others as part of a team.
- Read recipes and operate commercial kitchen equipment.
- May be assigned additional duties as needed.
Requirements and Preferences
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to work independently and follow directions.

- Previous food service experience, preferably cooking for large groups.
