Temp PT, Cosmetology Tutor

Job Responsibilities

• Encourage self-directed learning and development in each student.
• Assist students in developing a deep understanding of their coursework.
• Help clarify concepts or provide clear explanations of assignments.
• Work to ensure students develop a firm foundation for further learning.
• Visit classes at the start of each semester to introduce oneself and make students aware of tutoring resources.
• Attend classes or other college events to promote tutoring services.
• Coordinate and present workshops to assist with just-in-time learning.
• Be prepared to handle additional tasks as assigned by the director.

Minimum And Additional Requirements

• Experience in the field and history of successful study habits.
• Experience teaching/tutoring is preferred.
