About the role

The Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations including Operations, Clinical, HR functions, Training, and Regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Leading change and adjustments of a facility under the current operating environment of state and federal requirements
  • Operating a nursing home in a COVID environment with a strong understanding of regulatory compliance
  • Building relationships with both internal and external parties

Requirements

  • Nursing Home License active in OK
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 3 - 8 years experience as a nursing home administrator

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in leading change and adjustments of a facility under the current operating environment of state and federal requirements

Skills

  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external parties

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day
  • Proper body mechanics required—bending, stooping, turning, stretching, reaching above the shoulders are involved
  • Cope with the mental, emotional, and physical stress of the position
  • Observe, listen, and communicate effectively
  • Function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, support agencies, and outside agencies
  • Relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people within the facility
