Teller Senior

About the role

This position involves providing high-quality, accurate, and timely customer service within a retail banking environment. The role serves as the first point of contact for clients, offering assistance with financial transactions, recommending bank products, and fostering long-term client relationships to drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments, while maintaining cash control and adhering to audit/security policies.
• Assist with ATM balancing, deposit verification, and vault responsibilities to ensure operational efficiency.
• Deliver exceptional client experiences by resolving issues promptly and effectively, while continuously enhancing product knowledge through training.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities, promote bank products, and refer clients to appropriate departments to strengthen client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with all bank regulations, policies, and risk management standards, performing all assigned job duties accordingly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of customer service, cash handling, sales, or teller experience, or equivalent.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, 10-key calculator, coin counter, and basic office equipment.
• Strong communication skills.
