About the Opportunity
The Technology System Administrator is responsible for managing and supporting enterprise technology systems, collaboration platforms, and applications. This role ensures platforms are secure, reliable, and optimized for business use. It serves as a critical escalation point for complex technical issues and partners with various teams to enhance the overall employee technology experience.
Responsibilities
- Administer and configure enterprise systems and collaboration tools with secure and reliable settings aligned to governance standards.
- Manage identity and access controls across systems, including user provisioning and access reviews.
- Oversee enterprise collaboration and productivity platforms to ensure secure and effective business use.
- Develop and maintain governance frameworks, including operational procedures and documentation standards.
- Conduct software license reviews and manage license allocations to maintain compliance and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot complex system, endpoint, identity, and application issues, acting as an escalation point.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and internal knowledge resources.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technology teams to improve platform use, support processes, and identify automation opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience administering enterprise technology systems and applications.
- Experience with application governance, identity and access management, collaboration platforms, endpoint administration, and technology support.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Windows administration, and Microsoft Intune.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across technology environments.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively.
- Openness to adopting evolving technology and AI tools for improvement.
- Authorization to work permanently in the U.S.
- Preferred: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, or ITIL.
- Experience with scripting or automation tools like PowerShell or Power Automate.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices, change management, and operational support standards.
- Understanding of data governance and secure configuration management.
- Experience developing documentation and change management materials.
Pay Range and Compensation Package
