About the role

The Technology Systems Administrator at Mo’ Bettahs is responsible for the administration, support, optimization, and continuous improvement of all restaurant technology platforms across the organization. This role serves as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for various systems including Point of Sale (POS), operations management systems, back-office reporting tools, menu management platforms, labor systems, inventory applications, and related integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, maintain, and support POS platforms, back-office reporting systems, operations tools, menu management systems, labor scheduling platforms, and related applications.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, security roles, and system access across multiple platforms.
  • Maintain system performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated system issues impacting restaurant operations.
  • Coordinate system upgrades, software releases, and vendor-led enhancements.
  • Ensure accurate integration and synchronization of data between POS, reporting, inventory, labor, loyalty, and financial systems.
  • Validate data integrity and troubleshoot discrepancies across platforms.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base resources.
  • Support reporting platforms and business intelligence tools used by Operations, Finance, and Leadership teams.
  • Analyze system data and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.
  • Cover vendor support requests, issue escalations, and project implementations.
  • Participate in technology evaluations, pilot programs, and system rollouts.
  • Assist in managing technology projects, timelines, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to restaurant operators, field leadership, and corporate teams.
  • Develop training materials and conduct system training for end users.
  • Partner with Operations, Training, Finance, Marketing, and IT teams to improve system utilization and business processes.
  • Support new restaurant openings, acquisitions, and technology deployment initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes through automation and improved system functionality.
  • Recommend and implement best practices for system governance and administration.
  • Stay current on restaurant technology trends, industry best practices, and emerging solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Hospitality Technology, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting business applications, restaurant technology systems, or enterprise software platforms.
  • Experience administering POS systems and back-office restaurant applications.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience working with reporting tools, databases, or business intelligence platforms.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly solutions.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in the restaurant, hospitality, retail, or multi-unit operations industry.
  • Experience with Brink, PAR, Olo, Craftable, Workday or similar restaurant platforms.
  • Knowledge of data integrations, APIs, and middleware solutions.
  • Experience supporting menu management, loyalty, labor, inventory, or online ordering systems.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting and analytics tools.
  • Experience supporting large-scale system implementations and multi-location environments.
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Deep understanding of restaurant operations and supporting technology ecosystems. Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis capabilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Strong customer-service mindset and ability to support both technical and non-technical users. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments. Demonstrated ownership and accountability for business-critical systems.
