Technology Strategy and Delivery Lead

Summary

Lead and participate in strategy engagements:

  • Work with client C-Level executives and senior management to understand business and IT goals/challenges/strategy and define technology strategy/initiatives that span people, process and technology
  • Interview subject matter experts, document current state, perform gap analysis, define solution architecture / future state and perform research and solution evaluation / selection
  • Work with technical architects, experience architects and developers to define recommendations and build a strategic roadmap
  • Present and socialize recommendations and strategic roadmap to client stakeholders

Lead and participate in solution implementation programs / projects:

  • Serve as the primary lead on solution implementation projects, with full responsibility and accountability for project success
  • Solution implementation projects span one or more technical domains such as application, integration, data and AI/ML
  • Lead and participate throughout a project lifecycle from discovery and planning through implementation and delivery
  • Assemble, lead and participate hands-on alongside a high performance cross-functional team of X by 2 consultants and client resources that may include Solution Architects, Technical Leads, Software/Data Engineers, UI/UX Designers, Business Subject Matter Experts and Quality Assurance Engineers.
  • Manage all aspects of the project including: budgets, scope, resources, team & stakeholder communication and day-to-day decision making / project execution
  • Tailor agile delivery in line with agile philosophy and principles and execute all aspects of an agile methodology, including managing a board and conducting the various agile ceremonies.

Participate in business development activities:

  • Participate in pre-sales meeting to showcase X by 2 and professional experience, build credibility and rapport with prospects
  • Participate in proposal creation, project estimation and proposal delivery
  • Proactively search for and identify repeat business opportunities while working on client engagements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is required
  • 5+ years of prior hands-on experience as a software engineer developing enterprise (business) solutions
  • 5+ years of experience working as a consultant
  • 5+ years of combined experience working in healthcare or insurance business domains
  • 2+ years of experience in leading agile software development teams
  • 2+ years of experience leading and/or participating in strategy engagements

  • Ability to learn, adapt and deep dive into business and technology domains to solve problems, often times taking on the role of product/solution owner
  • Proficient in creating visually compelling artifacts and delivering compelling presentations that clearly convey business and technical concepts/plans to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to quickly build credibility, trust and rapport with client stakeholders and team members
  • Possess a high degree of emotional intelligence to proactively monitor, detect and resolve issues and conflicts and keep stakeholders and team members aligned on achieving the desired outcomes
  • Possess a strong sense of responsibility and accountability for project outcomes. Having a "make no excuses" attitude towards achieving desired outcomes
  • Strong understanding of agile philosophy and principles and applying them appropriately to tailor and execute agile methodologies

Compensation
