Technology Delivery Lead – Enterprise Initiatives

About the role

MaxIT Consulting – Max Corporate Group is seeking an experienced Technology Delivery Lead – Enterprise Initiatives to lead large, complex, cross-functional technology initiatives for a major U.S. organization. This position requires a project leader who combines strong delivery fundamentals with strategic thinking, proactive risk management, executive communication, and the ability to bring structure and clarity to complex situations. This is a local Tulsa-area opportunity with a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate multiple complex IT projects and programs.
  • Manage initiatives with significant cross-functional and organizational impact.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and delivery milestones.
  • Maintain risk registers, governance documentation, status reporting, and other project controls.
  • Understand business objectives and translate them into structured delivery plans.
  • Manage the complete project lifecycle from initiation through delivery and closeout.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and delivery issues before they impact project outcomes.
  • Develop and implement appropriate mitigation and contingency strategies.
  • Coordinate business leaders, technical teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate alignment across multiple teams with competing priorities.
  • Provide concise project-performance reporting and executive-level communications.
  • Present recommendations, alternatives, trade-offs, risks, and solution paths to leadership.
  • Support decision-making by bringing clarity and structure to ambiguous situations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project delivery through AI, automation, and emerging technologies.
  • Drive accountability for high-quality execution and measurable business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of Project Management experience, including at least 3 years supporting Information Technology initiatives; or
  • Approximately 11 years of relevant business and project-delivery experience demonstrating equivalent capability.

Additional requirements include:

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional technology projects.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent IT initiatives or programs.
  • Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, governance, and lifecycle management.
  • Proven experience managing project risks, issues, dependencies, and resource constraints.
  • Strong stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience working with business leaders, technical teams, vendors, and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare executive-level status reports and recommendations.
  • Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency with project-management and planning tools.

Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid position based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The expected schedule is:

  • Monday through Thursday: onsite in Tulsa
  • Friday: remote
