About the role

As a Technology Services Senior Designer in our Sacramento region, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

Responsibilities

  • Convert system design concepts into specific layouts by interpreting information set forth in basis of design as well as information gathered from users, other consultants, field surveys and code research.
  • Lead the ICT design for projects in Healthcare, Higher Education, and Scientific environments.
  • Use Revit MEP and AutoCAD capabilities.
  • Have RCDD, CTS-D, PSP, or CNIDP certification (preferred).
  • Manage budgets, capabilities, and options related to ICT systems and infrastructure.
  • Communicate effectively, understand building systems spatial requirements, and manage design coordination.
  • Comply with TIA, BICSI, and NEC standards.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks and work collaboratively with teams.

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience designing Information Communications Technology (ICT) systems in a Built Environment, Building Technology, or Electrical consultant firm.
  • Experience in structured cabling, voice/data systems, emergency communications, audio-visual systems, mission critical/data center connectivity, and clinical communication systems.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of building systems spatial requirements and design coordination.
  • Knowledge of TIA, BICSI, and NEC standards.
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client, project, and team outcomes.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in both individual and team settings.

Skills

  • Expertise in ICT systems and infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
  • Preferred certifications: RCDD, CTS-D, PSP, CNIDP.
