Technology Services Senior Designer

About the role

As a Technology Services Senior Designer in our Pasadena office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

Responsibilities

• Convert system design concepts into specific layouts by interpreting information set forth in basis of design as well as information gathered from users, other consultants, field surveys and code research.
• Lead the ICT design for projects in Healthcare, Higher Education, and Scientific environments.
• Use Revit MEP and AutoCAD capabilities.
• Have RCDD, CTS-D, PSP, or CNIDP certification (preferred).
• Manage budgets, capabilities, and options related to ICT systems and infrastructure.
• Communicate effectively with clients, project teams, and stakeholders.
• Prioritize multiple tasks and work collaboratively within a team environment.

Requirements

• 10+ years’ experience designing Information Communications Technology (ICT) systems in a Built Environment, Building Technology, or Electrical consultant firm.
• Experience in structured cabling, voice/data systems, emergency communications, audio-visual systems, mission critical/data center connectivity, clinical communication systems.
• Understanding of TIA, BICSI, and NEC standards.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Education in engineering, architecture, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as RCDD, CTS-D, PSP, or CNIDP are preferred but not required.

Skills

• Expertise in building systems spatial requirements and design coordination.
• Strong technical understanding and quick comprehension of new technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Benefits

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $130,000 to $180,000. Additional benefits include health, dental, vision, retirement, a performance-based year-end bonus, and various perks tailored to individual needs.
