Technology Services Senior Designer
About the role
As a Technology Services Senior Designer in our San Francisco office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.
Responsibilities
- Convert system design concepts into specific layouts by interpreting information set forth in basis of design as well as information gathered from users, other consultants, field surveys and code research.
- Lead the ICT design for projects in Healthcare, Higher Education, and Scientific environments.
- Use Revit MEP and AutoCAD capabilities.
- Have RCDD, CTS-D, PSP, or CNIDP certification preferred.
- Have experience with ICT systems and infrastructure, including budgets, capabilities, options.
- Understand building systems spatial requirements and design coordination.
- Know TIA, BICSI and NEC standards.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Organize and manage time efficiently.
- Prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in both individual and team settings.
Requirements
10+ years’ experience designing Information Communications Technology (ICT) systems in a Built Environment, Building Technology, or Electrical consultant firm: structured cabling, voice/data systems, emergency communications, audio-visual systems, mission critical/data center connectivity, clinical communication systems to name a few.
Qualifications
- Understanding of building systems spatial requirements and design coordination.
- Knowledge of TIA, BICSI and NEC standards.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client, project, and team outcomes.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Effective working individually and within team environments.

Pay
Estimated Starting Salary Range: $130,000 to $180,000
