Technology Services Senior Designer

About the role

As a Technology Services Senior Designer in our Overland Park, KS office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

Responsibilities

• Convert system design concepts into specific layouts by interpreting information set forth in basis of design as well as information gathered from users, other consultants, field surveys and code research.
• Lead the ICT design for projects in Healthcare, Higher Education, and Scientific environments.
• Utilize Revit MEP and AutoCAD capabilities.
• Manage budgets, capabilities, and options related to ICT systems and infrastructure.
• Understand building systems spatial requirements and design coordination.
• Hold RCDD certification and possess strong communication and organizational skills.
• Prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively both independently and within teams.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience designing Information Communications Technology (ICT) systems in a Built Environment, Building Technology, or Electrical consultant firm.
• Experience in designing voice/data systems, emergency communications, audio-visual systems, mission critical/data center connectivity, and clinical communication systems.
• Understanding of Revit MEP and AutoCAD capabilities.
• Knowledge of ICT systems and infrastructure, including budgets, capabilities, and options.

Qualifications
