About the Role
Coordinates and supervises activities of System Technicians, including planning of labor requirements. Ensures compliance with company and customer safety policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Leads weekly jobsite safety toolbox talks; completes jobsite safety forms and inspections
- Coordinates with Project Managers to ensure productivity and task completions are within project budget guidelines
- Analyzes blueprints effectively for job site knowledge
- Monitors progress of implemented tasks and timely deliverables
- Analyzes pending tasks for planning of required equipment, procedures, and training
- Completes overall job layout for projects of limited scope and size
- Installation and termination of peripheral devices
- Installation of pathways and cabling
- Programming and testing of installed Systems
- Testing and troubleshooting of System hardware equipment
- Conducts appropriate Systems Training for customers
- Completes maintenance and customer support service calls for installed Systems
- Provides quality customer support services
Requirements
- 6 or more years recent low voltage installation experience
- BICSI Installer Copper & Fiber Certification or BICSI Technician Certification or equivalent certification required
- Proficient communication (verbal/written), personal computer, and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) skills
- Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles, and drug-test as may be required per federal or client contract, or DOT policy
