Primary Responsibilities

  • Design and execute hands-on technology, AI, and energy education programs for SEI staff, youth, and community participants.
  • Lead community-facing workshops and learning sessions, ensuring equitable access to emerging technologies and energy literacy.
  • Collaborate with program teams to integrate tech and energy education into SEI’s broader service offerings.
  • Provide training and capacity-building for SEI staff to ensure consistent and high-quality program delivery.
  • Train and upskill SEI staff to deliver high-quality instruction and mentorship in emerging fields.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for SEI teams, embedding tech and energy literacy into existing service models.
  • Maintain oversight of IT systems and infrastructure to ensure operational efficiency and security.
  • Support technology adoption and provide troubleshooting assistance for staff and program participants.
  • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards across all technology platforms.
  • Identify emerging trends in technology, AI, and energy to inform program development.
  • Build partnerships with external organizations to expand access to innovative tools and resources.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with significant leadership experience required.
  • Master’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Educational Leadership, or related field (preferred).
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in technology program management, including leadership of cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing technology, AI, and energy education programs at scale.
  • Advanced knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, machine learning, energy systems, cloud platforms) and their integration into educational and organizational settings.
  • Prominent ability to lead digital transformation and capacity-building initiatives for diverse audiences.
  • Strong track record of measuring program outcomes and driving organizational impact.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and advancing opportunities for underrepresented communities.
  • Experience building partnerships with industry, educational institutions, and community organizations.
