Technology Adoption Lead
About the role
We are seeking a Technology Adoption Lead to join our team. This role will develop training materials, lead training sessions, and work directly with users across various business groups to identify opportunities for automation and AI.
Responsibilities
- Develop training materials for automation tools
- Lead virtual and in-person training sessions across Central Texas offices
- Work directly with users across business groups (Transportation, Resources, Water, Architectural, Federal, and Building Engineering Services) to identify opportunities for automation and AI
- Communicate ongoing technology updates from corporate technology to local users
- Scope automation and AI initiatives with Business Class Leadership and Operational Leadership
- Develop and execute software testing strategies and plans, ensuring quality assurance and validation of digital tools
- Translate user needs into clearly defined problem statements, pilot scopes, test cases, and adoption plans
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in the discipline to be supported
- Aptitude and demonstrated hands-on experience with computer applications specific to the discipline to be supported
- Knowledge of industry standards specific to the discipline being supported
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Experience supporting or leading the development of enterprise-level applications
- Experience with Autodesk Revit and related design workflows
- Experience with modern software practices to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions
- Experience defining and implementing software testing frameworks, including test strategy, standards, and validation processes across multiple tools or projects
- Experience driving technology adoption at scale, including rollout planning, user engagement, and measuring success through usage metrics
- Experience serving in a product owner or product manager role, including backlog prioritization and aligning development with user needs
- Experience developing and delivering training programs with a focus on driving adoption and embedding tools into daily workflows
- Experience using tools such as Power BI to track adoption, performance, and key usage metrics
- Experience evaluating or implementing AI and automation tools through pilots, working sessions, or structured deployment efforts

Pay
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
This role is full-time and based in Austin, Texas.
