About the role

This isn’t just a job, it’s a chance to lead innovation, engineer impact, and build a legacy of excellence. In the role of Technology Adoption Lead, we'll count on you to:

Responsibilities

  • Develop training materials for automation tools
  • Lead virtual and in-person training sessions across Central Texas offices
  • Work directly with users across business groups (Transportation, Resources, Water, Architectural, Federal, and Building Engineering Services) to identify opportunities for automation and AI
  • Communicate ongoing technology updates from corporate technology to local users
  • Scope automation and AI initiatives with Business Class Leadership and Operational Leadership
  • Develop and execute software testing strategies and plans, ensuring quality assurance and validation of digital tools
  • Translate user needs into clearly defined problem statements, pilot scopes, test cases, and adoption plans

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in the discipline to be supported
  • Aptitude and demonstrated hands-on experience with computer applications specific to the discipline to be supported
  • Knowledge of industry standards specific to the discipline being supported
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field of study
  • Experience supporting or leading the development of enterprise-level applications
  • Experience with Autodesk Revit and related design workflows
  • Experience defining and implementing software testing frameworks
  • Experience driving technology adoption at scale
  • Experience serving in a product owner or product manager role
  • Experience developing and delivering training programs
  • Experience using tools such as Power BI
  • Experience evaluating or implementing AI and automation tools
