Technician II - Shop ($5,000 Sign-on Bonus)

Position Overview

Sunstate Equipment Co. is hiring a Heavy Equipment Mechanic with a $5,000 retention bonus available. Pay & Benefits

Pay Range: $26+/hr dependent upon experience + quarterly branch performance bonus. Medical, dental, and vision insurance eligibility after first full month of employment. 401 Retirement Plan with up to 6% company match after 90 days. 7 Company paid holidays, 2 half days, + "My Holiday", paid day off annually to observe a holiday of your choice. Two weeks of vacation PTO in your first year + sick leave and personal time accrued after 90 days.

Location

The position will be in the shop located in Tulsa, OK 74116.

Typical Schedule

Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday 7AM - 4PM or 8AM - 5PM (Overtime Eligible)

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic, with a construction equipment or equipment rental background.
• Intermediate experience with hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engines on heavy construction equipment.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance, troubleshoot/diagnose malfunctions and repair equipment.
• Necessary basic tool set you need to perform the scope of equipment repairs.
• Eager to learn and grow; open to training on new equipment, technologies, and repair techniques to stay current in a fast-evolving industry.
• Basic understanding of schematics, computer diagnostic software, and welding methods.
• Safety oriented, maintaining industry and Sunstate safety standards performing equipment repairs.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail inspecting, servicing, and testing equipment, ensuring performance to manufacturer specifications.
