Technician III - Shop ($5000 Sign-on Bonus)

About the role

Location: This role will be based in our shop in Buda, TX with the occasional need to maintenance or repair equipment in the field.

Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM to 5:00PM (Overtime Eligible)

We are offering a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus and a pay range dependent on experience, with a discretionary quarterly branch performance bonus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, and test equipment, ensuring performance to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform routine service on equipment which includes checking fluid levels, changing fluid and lubricating.
• Perform novice level welding repairs (MIG & SMAW).
• Prepare and maintain accurate records on the maintenance and repair of equipment, including warranty records.

Requirements

• A minimum 2+ years’ experience as diesel mechanic, with a construction equipment rental background preferred.
• Intermediate troubleshooting and diagnosing skills with electrical and hydraulic systems, diesel engines, including Tier 4 and aftertreatment systems.
• Experience performing major and minor repairs on diesel and gas engines, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, as well as drive trains is required.
• Must have the necessary tools you need to do the job; averaging $5,000+ in value.
