Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair heavy construction equipment.
• Ensure equipment meets manufacturer specifications through inspections, servicing, and testing.
• Use basic tool set and learn new equipment, technologies, and repair techniques.
• Maintain industry and Sunstate safety standards during equipment repairs.
• Learn and grow in a dynamic and evolving industry.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic, with a construction equipment or equipment rental background.
• Intermediate experience with hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engines on heavy construction equipment.
• Necessary basic tool set for equipment repairs.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn new equipment and technologies.
• Basic understanding of schematics, computer diagnostic software, and welding methods.

Qualifications

You should have a strong safety orientation and be willing to adhere to Sunstate's safety standards. Candidates must also demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Pay

Pay Range: $26-$33/hr Dependent upon Experience + Quarterly Branch Performance Bonus

Schedule

Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday 7AM -5PM (Overtime Eligible)
