The School Bus Yard Operations Technician I position at Nashville, TN involves managing the daily operations of the school bus yard, including loading and unloading buses, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and ensuring all vehicles are ready for operation.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload school buses according to safety protocols and schedules.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the school bus yard.
• Ensure all vehicles are operational and ready for service.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on buses as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least one year of experience in a similar field, preferably in school bus operations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Good physical condition and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR.
