About the role

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company focused on transforming military capabilities with advanced technology. The Technical Writer will create and maintain user documentation across diverse business lines, ensuring that documentation reflects the quality of Anduril’s world-class products.

Responsibilities

• Generate, review, and edit user-focused documentation, working with engineering and operations to deliver task, condition, and standard-centric documentation.
• Evaluate and prioritize tasks to support product documentation efforts, keeping them on track with a data-driven approach.
• Communicate and manage expectations, noting risks and sharing them with leadership.
• Contribute to building a culture of technical documentation by participating in the living documentation process and ensuring that successors learn from your experience.

Requirements

• 4+ years of demonstrated excellence in generating technical documentation.
• Experience writing technical user-facing documentation.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering documentation.
• Experience building content in a variety of formats (Word, XML, etc).
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
• Ability to relocate to Costa Mesa, CA, if not already local.

Salary Range

$86,000 - $149,000 USD
