About the Role

The Technical Strategic Resourcing Engagement Manager will lead technical teams, oversee project execution, and ensure technical solutions align with business objectives. This role requires leadership, technical expertise, and strategic thinking to support WWT’s Service Provider Strategic Resourcing business. The manager will work with internal partners and customers to provide qualified staff for engagements, develop growth strategies, and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical strategies with business goals.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and resources for technical initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Manage consultants placed onsite with customers across Service Providers in the U.S.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to consultants during engagements.
  • Collaborate with Resource Managers to onboard new consultants.
  • Lead discussions with stakeholders on extensions, new opportunities, consultant utilization, change orders, and invoicing updates.
  • Serve as the escalation path for consultant and stakeholder issues.
  • Provide regular reporting to internal and external clients, including:
    • Project summaries (resources, start/end dates).
    • Consultant utilization (burn percentage, costs per resource).
    • Open roles (net new and backfills).
    • Change orders/POs.
    • Detailed invoicing reports (monthly or as requested).
  • Maintain a clear understanding of client environments, projects, and initiatives.
  • Encourage consultants to utilize Strategic Resourcing tools.
  • Reinforce WWT’s core values in all engagements.
  • Communicate updates and changes to internal and external clients.
  • Build relationships across the sales cycle (CSEs, Account Managers, Hiring Managers, etc.).
  • Track and address issues and risks as needed.
  • Participate in interviewing and intake calls with Resource Managers and clients.
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships to retain and grow business.
  • Advocate for consultants and customers when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of technical management experience, preferably in a Professional Services environment.
  • Proven experience in a technical leadership or management role.
  • Strong understanding of software development, IT infrastructure, or relevant technical domains.
  • Experience with engagement management or resource management.
  • Experience supporting Service Provider customers (strongly preferred).
  • Prior experience in staffing, recruiting, or managing engineering teams in project execution.
  • Ability to work independently and solve customer-facing problems.
  • 2+ years of sales experience.
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Agile or other project management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, DevOps practices, or emerging technologies.
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000. Actual salary will be based on location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure, certification, and business needs.
