Technical Solutions Specialist
About the role
We’re looking for a Technical Solutions Specialist to help drive growth across Gallagher Security’s target markets in the U.S. This role blends technical pre-sales, customer engagement, and solution design to help partners and end users get more from our integrated security solutions.
You’ll work closely with Business Development Managers, Channel Partners, Technical Account Managers, Professional Services, and product teams to support the full sales cycle - from presentations and demos to tenders, solution design, and complex integrations.
This is a remote role supporting customers and partners across the U.S., with regular regional travel across the North Central U.S. and into Canada. You’ll be a trusted technical advisor in the field, helping drive customer success and commercial impact.
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical pre-sales support across Gallagher’s security solutions portfolio
- Lead customer and partner presentations, demos, and technical discussions
- Support tenders, proof-of-concept activity, solution design, and complex integrations
- Build bills of materials and support quote accuracy based on customer and site requirements
- Deliver training and technical guidance to technicians, administrators, and end users
- Support commissioning, site audits, and system sign-off when needed
- Partner with internal teams to solve technical issues and improve service delivery
- Maintain accurate CRM activity and manage travel across your region
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in technical pre-sales design and technical engineering
- 3+ years of experience in technology sales, ideally in electronic security
- Experience with access control, intrusion detection, and perimeter detection solutions
- Strong IT knowledge and a solid understanding of networked environments
- Experience supporting tenders, compliance responses, and technically complex customer needs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, with a self-starter mindset and the ability to drive solutions
- High integrity, accountability, and attention to detail
- Willingness to travel regionally across the North Central U.S. and into Canada
Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent
Skills
- Strong technical problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
