Technical Sales-Wastewater & Water Treatment
Position Overview
Chart Industries is seeking a Technical Sales Manager, based in the Pacific Time Zone, responsible for securing contracts for manufactured water treatment solutions across municipal, private utility, commercial, and industrial markets.
What Will You Do?
- Generate new sales plans and execute market-specific sales strategies
- Maintain annual sales and pipeline growth goals
- Manage opportunities in Salesforce
- Build relationships with engineers, operators, regulators, and contractors
- Present water treatment solutions
- Support proposal development and bid strategies
- Coordinate with engineering teams
- Conduct customer presentations and trade show participation
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require...
- Able to travel up to 50% of the time
- Ability to work in various environments including offices, field sites, and client locations
Your Experience Should Be...
- 3+ years of sales engineering experience
- Bachelor’s degree (Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental preferred) or 5+ years in Water/Wastewater
- Knowledge of adsorption, filtration, ion exchange, reverse osmosis
- Strong technical and presentation skills
- Ability to interpret water quality data
Base Compensation
Base Compensation: $93,900-$121,500 + Target Annual Bonus, DOE

About the Role
This position requires a strong background in sales engineering and a passion for water treatment solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients in various industries and possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering or equivalent experience. A minimum of 3 years of sales engineering experience is required, with 5+ years in Water/Wastewater preferred. Strong knowledge of water treatment processes and regulatory requirements is essential.
