Position Overview

Chart Industries is seeking a Technical Sales Manager, based in the Pacific Time Zone, responsible for securing contracts for manufactured water treatment solutions across municipal, private utility, commercial, and industrial markets.

What Will You Do?

  • Generate new sales plans and execute market-specific sales strategies
  • Maintain annual sales and pipeline growth goals
  • Manage opportunities in Salesforce
  • Build relationships with engineers, operators, regulators, and contractors
  • Present water treatment solutions
  • Support proposal development and bid strategies
  • Coordinate with engineering teams
  • Conduct customer presentations and trade show participation

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require...

  • Able to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Ability to work in various environments including offices, field sites, and client locations

Your Experience Should Be...

  • 3+ years of sales engineering experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental preferred) or 5+ years in Water/Wastewater
  • Knowledge of adsorption, filtration, ion exchange, reverse osmosis
  • Strong technical and presentation skills
  • Ability to interpret water quality data

Base Compensation

Base Compensation: $93,900-$121,500 + Target Annual Bonus, DOE

About the Role

This position requires a strong background in sales engineering and a passion for water treatment solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients in various industries and possess excellent communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering or equivalent experience. A minimum of 3 years of sales engineering experience is required, with 5+ years in Water/Wastewater preferred. Strong knowledge of water treatment processes and regulatory requirements is essential.

The base salary range for this position is $93,900 - $121,500 annually, with a target annual bonus based on performance.
