Technical Recruiter
About the role
The ideal Recruiter will partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and perform full life-cycle recruiting. They will establish and maintain an aggressive candidate pipeline by developing networks around common skill sets, create job requisitions, post and advertise job openings, maintain records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), screen and distribute resumes, coordinate and set up interviews, and recommend placement of staff. They will also establish and maintain a working relationship with various recruiting sources, including colleges and universities, and participate in job fairs.
Responsibilities
- Create job requisitions
- Post and advertise job openings
- Maintain records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Screens and distributes resumes
- Cook up and set up interviews
- Recommend placement of staff
- Establish and maintain a working relationship with various recruiting sources
- Participate in job fairs
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad range of positions
- Minimum of two years recruiting experience
- DoD experience is a plus
- Knowledge of direct sourcing strategies to proactively build candidate pipelines
Skills
- US Citizenship with ability to obtain a clearance
- Strong time management and problem solving skills
- Excellent interviewing and evaluating skills
- Detail-oriented and meticulous
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- General knowledge of various employment laws and practices
- Ability to travel for recruitment meetings and career fairs
