About the role
We are seeking a Technical Recruiter to own hiring end-to-end across key technical roles including AI/ML, infrastructure, full-stack engineering, and developer tools. Secondary responsibilities include support for GTM and marketing as we scale.
Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles, from search strategy and sourcing through offer negotiation and close
- Build a strong understanding of LlamaIndex's products, technical stack, and culture to assess candidates accurately
- Source exceptional candidates through direct outreach, LinkedIn Recruiter, AI-powered sourcing tools, referrals, open-source communities, and other creative channels
- Partner closely with hiring managers to define requirements, calibrate on profiles, run high-signal interview loops, and keep candidates moving as priorities shift
- Deliver high-quality candidate slates with strong judgment around technical depth, motivation, trajectory, and fit
- Use AI recruiting tools responsibly by tuning filters, reviewing output carefully, and optimizing for quality over volume
- Track pipeline metrics, surface bottlenecks, and iterate on sourcing strategies to hit hiring goals
- Own candidate experience from first touchpoint through close, ensuring every interaction reflects LlamaIndex's brand and values
Requirements
- 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in a high-growth startup or technical recruiting environment
- A strong track record hiring technical talent across AI/ML, infrastructure, platform engineering, full-stack engineering, or developer tools
- Strong sourcing ability, with the creativity and persistence to find and engage passive candidates in competitive markets
- The ability to go deep quickly on unfamiliar technical domains and build credibility with hiring managers and candidates
- Strong talent judgment, with the ability to deliver high-precision slates and reduce calibration cycles
- Hands-on fluency with modern sourcing and AI recruiting tools, with good judgment around quality, signal, and automation
- High ownership, speed, follow-through, and communication skills
Qualifications
- Familiarity with the AI/ML ecosystem, open-source developer communities, or developer tools is a plus
- Experience supporting GTM, marketing, or non-technical hiring in addition to technical roles is a plus
- Experience coordinating with external agencies or recruiting vendors is a plus
