About the role
This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which includes Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. It involves leading strategic cross-functional projects to guide high value and high impact decisions across the supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic supply chain initiatives for various spaceflight systems
- Work closely with peers to provide detailed analysis of capability, capacity, and resource requirements
- Deep dive into specific process challenges and communicate relevant information to senior leadership
- Conduct in-source versus outsource strategic and financial analysis
- Perform technical capability, cost-benefit analysis, inventory strategy evaluation, and process document authoring
- Create strategic business processes and charter the tool sets necessary to launch them
- Develop reliable and repeatable processes to streamline data collection and analysis
- Evaluate resources, costs, cycle times, and lead times associated with targeted projects
- Apply technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- MBA, other relevant graduate degree, or 5+ years operations/supply chain experience
Qualifications

Desired Experience
- Working in an engineering-development organization
- Industrial Engineering experience
- Aerospace experience
- Corporate finance experience
- SQL or other coding ability
- Experience with enterprise planning and scheduling software
- Six-sigma or lean certification
- Software proficiency in SQL, Databricks, Excel, MS Project

Pay
For WA applicants, the compensation range is $145,188.00 - $203,263.20. Other site ranges may differ.
