What you will do
- Open and reassemble reactors to harvest polysilicon
- Work with management to achieve reactor turnaround standards
- Input downtime information into the downtime tracking system
- Report on production issues, provide feedback to technical staff
- Ensure housekeeping and 6S standards are met in assigned areas
- Contact appropriate personnel when additional expertise is required
- Identify opportunities to improve throughput and uptime
- Follow company policies regarding health and environmental protection, work safety, plant safety and quality
- Responsible for RCRA generation as relating to container and labeling usage, maintenance and storage functions, and regular inspections of RCRA applicable areas
EDUCATION
- A High School Diploma or GED are required
TYPE OF EXPERIENCE NEEDED
- Technical and mechanical aptitude as well as basic computer skills
TYPE OF KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR LICENSING/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
- Physical strength and endurance are essential for this position
- The ability to effectively communicate with team members and other stakeholders
- Skill set to operate in a fast-paced production environment while focusing on safety, quality, and precision
- Must be able to be frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, electrical equipment, mechanical equipment, and vibration
- Must be able to work 12-hour, rotating shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays, etc...)
- Be able to work day shift, second shift or rotating swing shift
