Technical Consultant - Early Careers
Summary
CCT's software manages the financial aspects of casinos, including the cage, count room, vault, and reconciliation processes. Technical Consultants are responsible for making these systems work within each client's environment. Your role involves handling the technical side of new implementations, version upgrades, and ongoing production support.
What You'll Do
Implementations and upgrades: Configure CCT applications for new client environments and version upgrades.
Build and validate integrations: Create and test connections between CCT platforms and existing casino systems.
Data management: Write SQL queries to retrieve, report on, and troubleshoot financial data.
Root cause analysis: Identify and resolve issues with data discrepancies and system integrations.
Cloud migration: Support workloads across on-premise and AWS environments as clients transition.
Documentation: Document configurations, data flows, and customizations for future reference.
Code and configuration: Write and maintain C# code and XML configurations.
Use AI: Leverage AI tools to automate tasks and improve efficiency.

Twenty-minute rule: Spend 20 minutes on a problem before escalating.
Short path to decision: Quick resolution of issues without unnecessary bureaucracy.
Human oversight: Senior and Principal consultants are accessible and involved in decision-making.
Experience Needed
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
Working knowledge of SQL from coursework, internships, or personal projects.
Exposure to an object-oriented language such as C#, Java, or C++.
Clear technical writing skills.
Able to explain technical findings to non-technical individuals.
Curiosity about business operations.
Nice to Have
Internship or co-op experience in software development, IT, application support, or data.
Hands-on exposure to AWS or another cloud platform.
Experience with APIs, file feeds, or data transfers between systems.
Exposure to BI and analytics tools.
Accounting or finance coursework or relevant work experience.
