Role Mission

As a Technical Application Specialist, you will be the technical expert supporting our Diagnostics customers across Poland. You will ensure successful instrument implementation, customer training, troubleshooting, and application support while acting as the key technical liaison between customers and Grifols. Your mission is to deliver an outstanding customer experience, support business growth, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What Your Responsibilities Will Be

  • Provide technical application support, both remotely and onsite, including installations, customer training, troubleshooting, software upgrades, and workflow optimization.
  • Act as the primary technical contact for customers, managing escalations and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Support new product launches, perform workflow and data analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement and change management initiatives.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Customer Service, Technical Support, and Quality teams to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Travel extensively across Poland to support customers and occasionally provide support in other territories when required.

Who You Are

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex application issues.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple activities.
  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic assays, laboratory workflows, and quality standards (GMP, ISO 13485).
  • Advanced English and Polish communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting laboratory instrumentation, medical devices, or diagnostic systems.
  • Experience delivering customer training and technical application support.
  • Previous experience in immunohematology, transfusion medicine, blood banking, molecular diagnostics, or a related laboratory environment is highly valued.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% and participate in an on-call rotation.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Medical Technology, Engineering, or another relevant scientific or technical discipline.
  • 1–3 years of experience in technical applications, field support, or customer-facing technical roles within the medical diagnostics or medical device industry.
