About the role
AWS Enterprise Support Technical Account Managers (TAMs) support our customers' innovative spirit across various AWS services including EC2, S3, DynamoDB & RDS databases, Lambda, CloudFront CDN, IoT, and more. TAMs work proactively to help customers adopt and use AWS services, providing strategic technical guidance and advocating for their needs.
Responsibilities
- Work with engineers and service teams to resolve customer support issues.
- Proactively help craft and execute strategies to drive customer adoption of AWS services.
- Represent AWS within a customer’s environment and drive discussions with senior leadership.
- Provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices.
- Keep customers’ AWS environments operationally healthy.
- Understand customers’ business/operational needs and technical challenges to help them achieve the greatest value from AWS.
- Travel 10% or more as needed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of technical engineering experience.
- Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data and analytics/security/applications development in a distributed systems environment.
- Bachelor's degree.
Qualifications
- Preferred: Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.
- Preferred: Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead.
Skills
Technical acumen and customer-facing skills are essential for this role. TAMs must be able to represent AWS effectively within a customer's environment and drive discussions with senior leadership.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $131,300.00 - $177,600.00 USD annually.
Schedule
This position requires the ability to travel 10% or more as needed.
