About the role

AWS Enterprise Support Technical Account Managers (TAMs) support our customers' innovative spirit across various AWS services including EC2, S3, DynamoDB & RDS databases, Lambda, CloudFront CDN, IoT, and more. TAMs work proactively to help customers adopt and use AWS services, providing technical guidance and advocating for their needs.

Responsibilities

  • Work with engineers and service teams to resolve customer support issues.
  • Proactively help customers craft and execute strategies for adopting AWS services.
  • Represent AWS within customer environments and engage with senior leadership on incidents, trade-offs, support, and risk management.
  • Provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices.
  • Keep customers’ AWS environments operationally healthy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their business and technical needs.

Requirements

The TAM role requires the ability to travel 10% or more as needed. It is not a direct technical support role but rather a technical advisor and 'voice of the customer' to organizations ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 enterprises.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of technical engineering experience.
  • Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data and analytics/security/applications development in a distributed systems environment.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Skills

Preferred qualifications include experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings, experience in internal or external customer-facing environments as a technical lead, and a Bachelor's degree.

Final compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.

Pay

Base salary range: $131,300.00 - $177,600.00 USD annually.
