About the role

AWS Enterprise Support Technical Account Managers (TAMs) support our customers' innovative spirit across various AWS services. This role is not a direct support role but involves working with engineers and service teams to resolve issues and helping customers adopt and utilize AWS services.

Responsibilities

  • Work proactively to help craft and execute strategies to drive customers' adoption and use of AWS services.
  • Provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance to help plan and build solutions using best practices.
  • Proactively keep customers' AWS environments operationally healthy.
  • Understand customers' business/operational needs and technical challenges to help them achieve the greatest value from AWS.
  • Travel 10% or more as needed to support customers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of technical engineering experience.
  • Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data and analytics/security/applications development in a distributed systems environment.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

  • Preferred: Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.
  • Preferred: Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead.

Skills

Technical acumen and customer-facing skills are essential for representing AWS within a customer's environment and driving discussions with senior leadership regarding incidents, trade-offs, support, and risk management.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $131,300.00 - $177,600.00 USD annually.

Schedule

The position requires the ability to travel 10% or more as needed.
