About the role
Perform daily inspection and maintenance on assigned equipment and areas, ensuring operational efficiency and safety.
- Conduct mechanical cleaning, lubrication, rebuilding, installation, and removal of equipment
- Maintain and repair formulation, packaging, and other production equipment without compromising safety or quality
- Assist in layout, assembly, and installation of piping and pumps, including gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related components
- Support repair and maintenance of physical structures and utilities
- Monitor and recognize baseline operating conditions for equipment, identifying deviations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including LOTO, confined space, hot work, line breaks, and forklift operation
Requirements
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, agricultural processing, or production environments
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, gearboxes, bearings, compressors, boilers, and pneumatic equipment
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing rotating equipment, drive systems, and production machinery
- Experience with preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs
- Skilled in welding, fabrication, cutting, and metalworking using MIG, TIG, and stick welding processes
- High school diploma or GED required; technical school, apprenticeship, or industrial maintenance certifications preferred
Pay
The salary range for this role in Biola, CA is $32.00 - $38.00 per hour. Compensation decisions consider candidate skill set, experience, training, licensure, certifications, work location, and business needs.
