Tech Business Analyst II (Salesforce)
About the role
We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and business acumen to support our digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Communicates and presents complex technical concepts simply and effectively to nontechnical team members
- Participates in identifying opportunities that impact business strategy and system performance
- Works with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements
- Identifies inefficiencies in processes and recommends solutions
- Conducts systems analysis with a focus on technical process models and use cases
- Provides testing support and analysis for resolution
- Affords assessments of long-term needs, performs gap analysis, and makes future state recommendations
- Serves as a project team member for projects of simple to moderate scope and complexity
- Communicates technical concepts simply and effectively to non-technical team members
- Performs other duties as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- 4+ years of relevant business systems analyst or related experience
- Practical experience using MS Access, SQL, SOQL/Salesforce, or working knowledge of relational databases
- Ability to apply statistical and other research methods into systems issues as required; review complex data and derive summary conclusions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Qualifications
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Technical writing and communication skills
- Knowledge of system process flows, use cases, and flowcharts
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Ability to prepare and present SDLC presentations
- Experience with data entity-relationship (ER) diagrams

Pay
The salary range for this job is $75,000 - $100,000. This range is specific to the job and salary offers consider a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and peer compensation.
Schedule
This role may be hybrid or remote. If you live within 50 miles of the Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC, this role will be hybrid. If you live more than 50 miles from these locations, this role will be remote. Any requests to come to the office will be communicated in advance.
