IT Salesforce Business Analyst II
About the role
The Salesforce IT Business Analyst II position at Western & Southern Financial Group (W&SFG) is part of the Information Technology (IT) department. This role collaborates with stakeholders to identify and articulate business and stakeholder requirements for the Salesforce suite of products, including Financial Service Cloud, Sales/Service Cloud, Salesforce Platform, and Marketing Cloud. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of professional business analysis experience, including experience with Agile/Story Cards, and possess strong communication, modeling, analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and articulate business and stakeholder requirements for the Salesforce suite of products.
- Elicit, analyze, specify, and validate business, stakeholder, solution, and transition requirements.
- Communicate requirements to Salesforce solution/development teams through story cards in an Agile methodology.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Business Subject Matter Experts, peer Salesforce IT BAs, Developers, and Software Quality Assurance.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of professional business analysis experience.
- Experience gathering requirements and knowledge of different types of requirement methodologies (including Agile/Story Cards).
- Direct Salesforce CRM/Marketing Cloud business analysis experience is highly desired.
- Proven communication, modeling, analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- A strong technical/IT background (software development/analysis/architecture) is preferred.
- Experience using requirements management tools (i.e. TFS, MS Office, Visio, etc.) is beneficial.
- General knowledge of project management methodologies (i.e. Agile, Waterfall, Iterative) is advantageous.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, modeling, analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Effective business analyst who brings clarity out of ambiguity.
- Desired qualifications include a strong technical/IT background, experience with requirements management tools, and general knowledge of project management methodologies.
