About the role

You will bridge the gap between financial business logic and Big Data engineering. The goal is for you to translate the Business Partner needs to the developers. You won't be working with data, this role works with the team building the product.

Core Responsibilities

• Functional Architecture: Convert complex "future loss" business logic into technical specs
• Logic Integration: Design the interface that allows BPs to execute custom macro-style logic within a Big Data environment. Hadoop (FDHS) ecosystem.
• System Optimization: Ensure user-defined parameters are optimized for distributed computing.

Technical Requirements

• Big Data: Proactive experience with Hadoop and FDHS storage.
• Processing: Spark/PySpark for large-scale data transformation.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5-8 Years
• Education: B.S. in Computer Science (Required)

Pay

• $60 - 72 per hour

Schedule

• 9am to 5pm
