Team Lead Prescriber Administrative Assistant
About the role
A member of Transformations Care Network (TCN), Northeast Health Services is dedicated to enhancing mental health care accessibility in local communities. As a Team Lead Prescriber Administrative Assistant, you will join our clinical support team, playing a vital role in supporting both clients and colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Answer phones and take client calls, providing professional, accurate, and satisfactory responses to inquiries and concerns.
- Guide clients through troubleshooting for telehealth appointments.
- Call insurance for prior authorization and copay information.
- Assist providers with administrative tasks.
- Answer general questions about the practice and services provided.
- Answer internal communication questions.
- Cookorate care between clients and providers.
- Schedule client appointments.
- Call in prescriptions to the pharmacy as needed and work on med prior authorizations.
- Coordinate with other team members and locations to provide exceptional customer service.
- Help train new team members as needed.
- Prepare client files for providers.
- Provide overall psychiatric provider and site support in conjunction with Site Coordinators.
- Own and manage medication logbook and download prescription monitoring report each day for review.
- Help support therapists and psychiatric providers on managing waitlists.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work well with a team, especially in stressful situations.
- Patience and empathy, along with adaptability and flexibility.
- Strong time management, detail-oriented, and organizational skills.
- Computer skills, familiarity with Google Drive.
- Phone skills, including familiarity with complex or multi-line phone systems.
- Maintain client trust and confidentiality.
- Create a safe, productive work environment focused on client care.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, interfacing well with clients and teammates in a mental health setting.
- Ability to complete other office tasks as needed.

Pay
The hourly compensation range for this role is $25 - $27. Actual compensation may vary based on licensure, experience, market-driven enhancements, and incentive opportunities available for this role.
