Team Lead in a manufacturing or production environment.
Responsibilities
- Enforce all workplace safety procedures and compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and drills.
- Lead by example to foster a culture of safety and accountability.
- Monitor production activities to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Work closely with quality assurance teams to identify and correct defects.
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality checks and improvement actions.
- Schedule and allocate manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently.
- Minimize downtime and material waste through proactive planning and coordination.
- Adjust resource allocation as needed to meet changing demands.
- Serve as a liaison between management and frontline employees.
- Facilitate team meetings, shift handovers, and issue reporting.
- Encourage open dialogue and resolve interpersonal or process-related conflicts.
- Provide onboarding and ongoing training for team members.
- Identify skill gaps and coordinate with HR or training departments for support.
- Mentor employees for growth and succession planning.
- Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular reviews.
- Track production metrics and team KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
- Provide constructive feedback and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
- Identify root causes of production issues and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations.
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Adjust workflows in response to production schedule changes or urgent issues.
- Manage crisis situations calmly and effectively.
- Support the implementation of new systems, products, or procedures.
- Foster a respectful, inclusive, and motivated team culture.

Requirements
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA).
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in production and operations management, preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and manufacturing software.
- General knowledge of company products and procedures.
- General working knowledge of accounting methods and cost control procedures.
- Able to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, customer specifications, general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Able to write reports and business correspondence.
- Able to effectively present information and answer questions from managers, customers, and other employees of the organization.
- Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Physical Requirements
