Team Lead - Entry-Level Management

Team Lead reports to the Club Manager. Full‑time supervisor, non‑exempt position.

Job Summary

Responsible for assisting in the oversight of gym operations to ensure a positive member experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in training and developing staff.
• Assist in member service oversight, ensuring all staff provide great customer experience.
• Handle front‑desk tasks, including answering phone calls politely, taking informational calls, and assisting with member check‑ins, sign‑ups, cancellations, and account updates.
• Give gym tours to potential members.
• Facilitate member service issues and questions.
• Support team member management and provide backup to the Club Manager as needed.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
• Help create and maintain a positive image for the club.
• Assist in overseeing cleanliness and appearance of the gym.
• Assist in managing marketing efforts, ensuring team members are aware of and trained on current promotions.
• Assist in ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, and tracking reports as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Honesty and strong work ethic.

• Basic computer proficiency.

Physical Demands

• Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift.
• Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb (less than 30% of the time).
