Team Lead

About the Role

The Team Lead assists in supervising and managing all day-to-day store operations while ensuring compliance with all established Company policies and procedures. Provides leadership, guidance, and training to store staff under the direction of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager. In their absence, the Team Lead assumes full responsibility for all store operations and strives to meet and exceed sales, service, and operational objectives. This role may be full or part-time.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and welfare of employees and customers.
• Create and maintain an excellent customer shopping experience and reinforce current service level standards.
• Provide service training and leadership to staff members.
• Manage customer issues with urgency and to customer satisfaction.
• Oversee all POS terminal transactions in accordance with policy and procedure, including sales, discounts, refunds, loyalty programs, and open/closing procedures.
• Manage inventory control, including shipping and receiving, price management (price changes, markdowns), handling singles and damaged merchandise, and conducting physical inventory.
• Maintain sales floor merchandising and visual presentation, including merchandise placement, sales floor maintenance, housekeeping, and promotional event signage.
• Control payroll by adhering to scheduling, budget compliance, and time & attendance policies.
• Train and develop direct reports using available training tools and reinforce customer service standards.
• Prevent loss by protecting and controlling all Company assets.
• Work toward a complete understanding of managing all day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• An approved background check.

• Managerial and organizational skills.

Pay

$16.25 - $21.13 hourly.
